Important warnings

Common effects include headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, nasal congestion, flushing, and pain in the limbs. Serious or less common problems include prolonged erection or priapism, sudden vision loss, sudden hearing loss, severe hypersensitivity reactions, and cardiovascular events. Seek urgent medical attention for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden vision or hearing changes, or significant chest symptoms. Pregnancy

Food, drink and interactions
Avoid substantial alcohol intake while taking tadalafil. Both alcohol and tadalafil can widen blood vessels, and larger amounts of alcohol can increase the likelihood of low blood pressure, dizziness, headache, and an increased heart rate.
