Zimvir 500 Mg Tablet contains an active ingredient, Valacyclovir, which is used in the treatment of Herpes simplex virus infections & Chickenpox . Chickenpox is an infection which is caused by the varicella-zoster virus. Chickenpox spreads very easily from one person to another. A symptom of chickenpox is an uncomfortable, itchy rash. The rash turns into fluid-filled blisters & eventually into scabs. It usually shows up on the face, chest, & back and then spreads to the rest of the body. Shingles ( Herpes simplex virus infections ) is a disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus, the same virus which causes chickenpox.
