Side effects and monitoring
Common sildenafil side effects include headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, dizziness, nausea, back or muscle pain, rash, and temporary visual changes such as blurred vision or altered colour perception. Serious but less common problems include prolonged erection or priapism, severe hypotension, sudden vision loss and sudden decrease or loss of hearing, sometimes accompanied by tinnitus or dizziness.
