Medicine overview
1 2 3 100 Mg Tablet contains sildenafil, supplied as sildenafil citrate, and is used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult men. Sildenafil belongs to the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor class. It supports an erection by improving blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. The tablet does not cause an erection automatically and does not increase sexual desire. The 100 mg strength represents the maximum recommended sildenafil dose for erectile dysfunction in standard prescribing information.
What it is used for
1 2 3 100 Mg Tablet is used for erectile dysfunction, meaning difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection firm enough for satisfactory sexual activity. Sildenafil helps improve the erectile response when sexual stimulation is present. This product should not be treated as interchangeable with sildenafil products approved for pulmonary arterial hypertension, because their indications, dosing schedules and formulations may differ.
How it works
Sildenafil inhibits phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), an enzyme that breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). During sexual stimulation, nitric oxide increases cGMP in penile tissue, causing smooth muscle relaxation and greater blood flow into the penis. By slowing cGMP breakdown, sildenafil supports this natural erection process. Sexual stimulation is still required; sildenafil does not produce an erection independently.
How it is taken
Take sildenafil by mouth exactly as prescribed. For erectile dysfunction, authoritative prescribing information states that it may be taken about 1 hour before sexual activity and can be taken between 30 minutes and 4 hours beforehand. It should not be taken more than once in 24 hours. It may be taken with or without food, although a high-fat meal can delay how quickly it starts working. Do not take additional tablets because the expected response has not occurred.
Important warnings
Do not use sildenafil with nitrates or nitric oxide donors, including medicines such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide, because the combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure. It is also contraindicated with guanylate cyclase stimulators such as riociguat. Tell a healthcare professional about heart disease, recent cardiovascular events, low blood pressure, severe liver or kidney problems, bleeding disorders, penile deformity, sickle cell disease, multiple myeloma, leukaemia or previous serious vision problems. Alpha-blockers, blood-pressure medicines and strong CYP3A4 inhibitors can increase the risk of hypotension or sildenafil adverse effects. Combining sildenafil with other PDE5 inhibitors or erectile-dysfunction medicines is not recommended. Seek urgent medical attention for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden loss of vision, sudden decrease or loss of hearing, severe allergic symptoms, or chest pain during sexual activity.
Side effects and monitoring
Common effects include headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, dizziness, nausea, muscle or back pain, rash and temporary visual changes such as blurred vision or altered colour perception. Serious or less common reactions include prolonged or painful erection, severe hypotension or fainting, sudden vision loss, sudden hearing loss and serious cardiovascular events, particularly in people with underlying cardiovascular disease. Stop sildenafil and obtain urgent medical care for an erection lasting more than 4 hours or sudden vision or hearing loss. Routine laboratory monitoring is not generally specified for sildenafil used as needed for erectile dysfunction, but medical review is appropriate if adverse effects are persistent or the medicine is ineffective.
Pregnancy
This sildenafil product is indicated for erectile dysfunction in men and is not indicated for use in women. Pregnancy use for this ED product is therefore not an approved indication.
Breastfeeding
This sildenafil product is indicated for erectile dysfunction in men and is not normally used during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding patients who are prescribed sildenafil for another medical indication should obtain condition-specific medical advice.
Food, drink and interactions
Avoid excessive alcohol when using sildenafil. Alcohol can make erection difficulties worse and may contribute to dizziness or low blood pressure. A formal sildenafil-alcohol interaction study evaluated 50 mg sildenafil rather than the 100 mg strength, so its findings should not be assumed to establish the safety of heavy alcohol intake with this product.
Food and drink
Sildenafil may be taken with or without food. A high-fat or large meal can delay its absorption and make the onset of effect slower. Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice because they may affect sildenafil metabolism and increase the likelihood of side effects.
Storage
Store at controlled room temperature. Sildenafil labeling specifies 25°C (77°F), with permitted excursions from 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F), and the medicine should be kept out of children's reach. Product-specific storage instructions printed on the supplied pack should take precedence.

Frequently asked questions
Does sildenafil 100 mg work without sexual stimulation?
No. Sildenafil supports the normal erectile response to sexual stimulation; it does not cause an automatic erection.
Can a heavy meal make sildenafil take longer to work?
Yes. Sildenafil can be taken with or without food, but a high-fat or large meal may delay absorption and slow the onset of effect.
What should I do if sildenafil 100 mg does not seem to work?
Do not take extra tablets or exceed the prescribed amount. Sexual stimulation, meal timing and underlying medical factors can affect the response, so persistent difficulty should be discussed with the prescriber.
Why do I get a headache, flushing or a stuffy nose after sildenafil?
These are recognized common sildenafil side effects. Medical advice is appropriate if they are severe, persistent or difficult to tolerate.
How long is too long for an erection after sildenafil?
An erection lasting more than 4 hours requires emergency medical attention because prolonged priapism can damage penile tissue.
Can I drink alcohol with sildenafil?
Heavy alcohol use is best avoided. It can worsen erectile function and may increase dizziness or blood-pressure effects.
Can I take sildenafil with nitroglycerin or other nitrate medicines?
No. Sildenafil and nitrates must not be used together because the combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
Does sildenafil cure erectile dysfunction permanently?
No. It temporarily supports erectile function during sexual stimulation; it does not cure the underlying cause of erectile dysfunction.
Can Cheap Generic Med ship this medicine internationally?
Cheap Generic Med serves multiple international destinations, but destination-specific delivery, prescription and import requirements vary. Shipping availability does not by itself confirm that personal import is legally permitted in a particular country.
