Navelbine 10 mg Injection contains an active ingredient, Vinorelbine, which is used in the treatment of breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. Breast cancer is type of cancer that develops from breast tissue. Vinorelbine is a semi-synthetic vinca-alkaloid having a wide spectrum of anti-tumor activity. The vinca-alkaloids are measured spindle poisons. It acts by interfering with the polymerization of tubulin, a protein which is responsible for building the microtubule system which appears during cell division in proliferating cancer cells.
