Important warnings
Do not take sildenafil with nitrates or nitric oxide donors, including medicines such as nitroglycerin, because the combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure. Sildenafil is also contraindicated with riociguat. Less common but serious reactions include prolonged or painful erection, severe hypotension, sudden hearing decrease or loss, and sudden vision loss associated with non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Stop sexual activity and obtain medical help if chest pain, severe dizziness, or nausea develops during sex. Pregnancy
